Now, this is the first and most important thing you need to consider. Where are you washing your car? Where are you connecting the hose? Do you have a hose reel? You can buy the best item on this list but if you don’t have enough hose length, it will do you no good. For instance, if you are washing your car in the yard, and you are connecting the hose nozzle to the kitchen sink, you need to measure that distance. Add at least 2-3 feet just in case, so you can move around easily.

Think about the hose diameter too. The bigger the hose diameter, the more water pressure you will need. So, if the water pressure in your house is relatively low, buy something with a smaller diameter.
